Pennine Trophy 2020

The Pennine Trophy is an annual backgammon tournament commencing with the first Bradford tournament in January and ending with the Manchester tournament in December.
There will be 6 seperate leagues (Masters and Intermediate), Bradford, Manchester and a combination of the two

Following the success of the last 5 years the competition will continue in 2020 and continue to reward both good play and attendance.

Due to the ever increasing attendances, all monthly tournaments will start at 11.30am prompt (Last registrations taken at 11.25am)

£1080 of the registration fees will be given as prizes to the top 6 qualifying* players in the Bradford and Manchester leagues.

The balance of the registration fees (less admin/trophies) will be given as added prize money at the 4 bonus tournaments throughout the year with the following split - 80% for main tournament, 20% for consolation tournament.

As the money used to fund this competition is coming from registration fees (i.e. the more events you attend the more you contribute) there will be an eligibility criteria.

*To qualify for the annual prize monies and trophies players must have attended either 13 of the 2020 Pennine trophy tournaments or 7 of the 2020 tournaments held at the relevant venue.
